Indian Head Gold Dollar - Type III
Excluding Sales Tax
- This coin features the image of Miss Liberty wearing a feathered Indian headdress on the obverse and a wreath encircling the denomination and date on the reverse. Because the strike for the first two types in this American gold dollar rare coin series was often weak, the obverse design of Miss Liberty was adopted directly from the $3 gold piece.
